Uvita is on the South Pacific of Puntarenas province, located in the area known as Costa Ballena. Uvita is a charming village next to river, enclosed by the Pacific ocean and mountainous rainforest surroundings and active tropical wildlife. It is described by many as one of the most biologically diverse areas in the world and where the jungle meets the ocean. Uvita’s sandy palm beaches are situated within Marino Ballena National Park.
