KADY TAYLOR: SYNERGY’S OWN YOGA INSTRUCTOR
“As a teacher and creative director of Synergy, my aim is to weave together disciplines of yoga, meditation and creative manifestation to support the transformative journey towards a more graceful, mindful and creative state of well-being.”
Kady is originally from San Jose, California where she attended Cal State Monterey Bay studying Sustainable Hospitality and Event Planning. She first came to Costa Rica in January 2017 to pursue a life of passion and adventure. It was her love for movement and fascination with the mind-body connection that first sparked her interest in yoga.
As a captain of the volleyball team and state champion runner, she appreciated the significant physical benefits, but it was after her challenging college years that the yoga mat became a place of refuge. Kady studied at Gypsea Yoga school in Costa Rica. She teaches Hatha Flow and Yin Yoga. Kady’s warm presence creates a nurturing environment in which she encourages students to explore with curiosity, return to their breath and listen to their inner wisdom. She brings compassion to each posture, inspiring students to look inward and move with authenticity and ease.
WEEKLY YOGA AT SYNERGY
At Synergy we offer classes and workshops to accommodate all levels of experience. We aim to guide your mind and spirit as well as your body through asana, facilitating a sense of expansion, deep connection and relaxation on all levels.
Our Hatha/Vinyasa style yoga combines traditional breath centered approaches, physical mindfulness and modern creative sequencing. Our classes will give you the space to fall deeply into embodied awareness-transforming physically, mentally through fluidity, ease and blissful experience.

Vinyasa is a form of dynamic yoga where we follow the breath through different sequences of yoga postures. These classes are strong, challenging fast paced – transitioning fluidly between shapes. Emphasizing the movement between poses as much as the poses themselves- Vinyasa is a great way to clear internal blockages, increase mindfulness, energize strengthen your physical energetic systems, find a centre of calm within intensity. A great way to start the day.
In this pared down class-movements are simplified slowed down offering space to connect with quiet presence move with grace intention.While still strong, this class is great for beginners, with time in each posture to focus on alignment refinement of the shape. Helps to balance the nervous system mind, circulate energy create a calm yet energized feeling state.
Yin yoga targets the deepest tissues of the body, our connective tissues; ligaments, joints, bones, the deep fascial networks. It also targets our meridian system moving energy along our networks of energetic pathways. Using a series of long-held, passive floor poses (up to 7 minutes), this deeply relaxing class helps to calm balance the mind body, reduce stress anxiety gently open the muscles deeper connective tissues of the body.
